(AP) -- Cedar Fair and Six Flags are merging to create an expansive amusement park operator with operations spread across 17 U.S. states and three countries. In the Bay Area, those parks include Cedar Fair-owned California's Great America in Santa Clara and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.
