The singer says that at her upcoming concerts, she will be giving away thousands of books that are prohibited in the Sunshine State’s public schools.The 44-year-old performer and the free expression organization PEN America, along with poet Amanda Gorman, announced the effort on social media on Sunday.Pink, who is poised to perform at stops in Miami and Orlando this week as part of her “Trustfall” tour, will give away 2,000 banned books at the concerts.“I’m a voracious reader and I’m a mom of two kids who are also voracious readers. No one injured after train-vehicle crash in Buda

BUDA, Texas (KXAN) — No injuries were reported after a crash between a train and vehicle in Buda Saturday evening, according to the city. The crash happened near the South Main railroad crossing near West Goforth Road, Main Street and South Loop 4. Buda Police said there were no injuries. The city said the train did not detail due to the crash.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Amtrak has confirmed that service between New York City and Albany has been suspended for the second day in a row. Hyde Park woman arrested for alleged kidnapping

HYDE PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 27-year-old is in custody after allegedly abducting her partner's eleven-month-old child. State Police arrested Ashley M. Hernandez on Sunday evening and charged her with second-degree kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a child. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Police say the incident stemmed from a verbal domestic dispute between Hernandez and her partner. Hernandez allegedly drove her partner and the child to the Golden Manor Motel before locking her partner out of the vehicle and fleeing. State Police located Hernandez and the child at a nearby motel. Hernandez is not related to the child and does not have any custodial rights. Hernandez was arraigned at the Town of Hyde Park Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bond, or a $30,000 partially secure bond. She is due back in court on November 15.

BLEECKER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Broadalbin man was killed on Friday on County Highway 125 in the Town of Bleecker during a logging accident. TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 33-year-old male from Brooklyn who led police on a sixteen-mile pursuit on November 6 is in custody. Melquan L. Jordan was arrested at the Saugerties Town Court on November 8, when he was appearing on an unrelated criminal matter. The driver failed to comply and led officers on a chase that ended in Troy. The driver, later identified as Jordan, drove onto the Uncle Sam Bikeway.
